As the prior tabbed examples show, Paras has been entangled in numerous legal disputes. In addition to being sued by a worker and a neighbor, subcontractors have repeatedly been forced to sue Paras and/or file liens to collect for their work. While good contractors may occasionally be involved in legal disputes, some contractors seem to spend a lot more time than others in the courthouse. Responsible contractors can settle most of their disputes before they wind up in the courthouse which minimizes complications for everyone associated with the project, including the construction users. These disputes are costly and non-productive.
